Pickleball Impact Tester
Product Overview
The machine uses compressed air as the propulsion source to simulate the scenario of a pickleball being struck at high speed by a racket. It measures the ball’s initial impact velocity and, after rebound, determines its rebound velocity. Following multiple tests, the racket’s COR value is calculated.
Technical Specifications
1. PLC and touchscreen control
2. Test ball: Pickleball
3. Maximum launch speed: 50–140 mph
4. Impact display accuracy: 0.01 mph
5. The first set of speed sensors is positioned 30.48 cm in front of the impact plate; the second set is positioned another 30.48 cm further away
6. Adjustable launch speed
7. Measures impact speed and rebound speed; automatically calculates the COR value
8. 2 sets of microcontroller-based speed measuring units
9. 2 sets of high-speed optical fiber speed sensors
10. Impact method: Manual ball feeding for single-shot impact
11. Test chamber dimensions: 180 × 180 × 200 (L × W × H) cm
12. One set each of badminton racket clamps and Peak racket fixtures (using counterweight loads to simulate human hand force; the racket swings naturally backward after the ball strikes it)
13. Scale indicator plate installed on the side of the racket
14. Weight (approx.): 780 kg
15. Power supply: AC 220V 5A; Air pressure source: 6 kg/cm²
