An electric bicycle performance test measures how a complete e-bike behaves under controlled riding loads. A laboratory test bench can quantify climbing ability, maximum speed, acceleration, range, power demand, voltage, current and dry or wet braking without relying on changing outdoor road conditions.

How Does the Test Work?

Because the same settings can be repeated, manufacturers can compare prototypes, motor-control strategies, battery configurations and production samples using consistent conditions.
